When you connect your Strava account we collect and store the following information:

• Strava profile data — your display name, profile photo, and Strava athlete ID.
• Activity data — activity summaries (type, distance, time) for activities that include segments used in your competitions.
• Segment efforts — elapsed time, date, and ranking for segment efforts relevant to active challenges.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Calculate competition scores and leaderboard standings.
• Award achievements and experience points.
• Display your profile within groups you belong to.

3. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Data.

4. Third-Party Services — Strava

KOM Wars uses the Strava API to access your activity and segment data. This integration is subject to the following:

• We access your Strava data only with your explicit authorization via OAuth.
• Strava may collect usage data about API access in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Your use of Strava is subject to Strava's Privacy Policy.
• You may disconnect your Strava account at any time via Settings.
• Upon disconnection, we delete all Strava-sourced data from our systems.

5. Other Third Parties

• Neon — database hosting (PostgreSQL).
• Vercel — application hosting and edge functions.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export or delete your data from Settings → Data. For other requests, contact us at the address below.
